Last week I had the * great * opportunity to attend to Web Congress Bogotá 2016 where we talked about marketing, business and innovation. This event has taken place previously in Miami, New York and other major cities of America and the world. This time was Colombia's turn to host it.
The congress took place the 12th and 13th of May, and while I had been tracking this event for a couple months, I found out I could attend for sure the day before in the afternoon. I had a thousand things to do in those days but this was an opportunity I could not let pass. That night I did my suitcase and got my plane ticket to bogota for the next morning.
My flight was delayed due to bad weather so I arrived in Bogota on Thursday at 11 am, had lunch and went directly to the Congress, where the staff welcomed me with my badge and my welcome kit. I arrived just in time to take a good seat for the Samung Gear VR conference by Carlos Mateus, vice president of the mobile division of Samsung and Walid Gonzales, Product Manager of Samsung, This was one of my most expected talks since lately I been learning to create content for virtual reality glasses.
Disfruté también de las conferencias de LinkedIn y El Consumidor Conectado, de los paneles de tendencias e influenciadores y de cuatro talleres el último día. De todo esto les hablaré con detalle más adelante.
I also enjoyed LinkedIn and Consumer Connected conferences, trends and influencers panels and four workshops on the last day. I will talk more in detail about these later.
There were stands of universities, start-ups and major companies. the Samsung Lounge we by far the best, they had demonstrations of their virtual reality glasses (We'll be talking more detail about these soon here on the blog because I love them!).
I met great people and learned a lot about the digital world; from content to tools and equipment that as an Industrial Designer and Blogger are very interesting to me. Stay tuned, because as mentioned, in the next days I will share some of the things I learned. Everything from my point of view.
¡Ten un buen día!
Have a great day!
